Radim 5WP
The Radim 5WP is designed for the continuous determination of the radon activity concentration in indoor air.
Radon is measured by alpha-spectrometry of the 222Rn decay product 218Po and 214Po
after electrostatic precipitation on the surface of a semiconductor detector.
The measuring interval is 30 minutes. The measuring parameters can only be changed on PC using the
Radim 5WP-software.
By pushing only one button the measurement is started. The device is designed for operating without power supply;
batteries or rechargeables are required. Therefore only power-saving indicators are used. An operating time
of at least 100 days is guaranteed. In case of changing the batteries the data are saved.
All data are stored in an internal memory in ASCII format and can be exported via PC and processed later
in MS-Office programs like MS-Excel.
A drying cartridge inside the housing ensures, that the device can be used in a dusty and humid environment.
