The company  was established by the two geoscientists
Dr. Joachim Kemski and Dr. Ralf Klingel. Since 1990, both of them are engaged in the field of environmental
radioactivity with emphasis on the health relevant topic radon. Their extensive know-how was the basis for the
designation as public appointed, affiant specialist for radon at the IHK Bonn.
In many years of practical experience in the field of radon measurement in soil gas and indoor air - in private
dwellings as well as at workplaces -, the measurement devices offered here have been successfully applied.
For example:
- more than 12.000 soil gas measurements for generating the German map of
radon activity concentration of soil gas (contracting authorities:
Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Reactor Safety
(BMU) /Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS))
- more than 20.000 radon measurements in indoor air with long-term
measuring devices (exposimeters) according to German DIN 25.706,
part 1 (contracting authorities: BMU/BfS, State Ministries of Bavaria,
Hessen and Rhineland-Palatinate)
- several 100 radon measurements at workplaces with integrating long-term
measuring devices (exposimeters) and continiously recording short-time
measuring instruments (contracting authorities: water supply companies)
offers measuring devices to determine the
radon activity concentration in buildings and soil gas as well as in water. These devices can be
used by citizens in their own home, specialists in radiation protection and environmental sciences,
authorities as well as scientific institutions.
does not produce the measuring devices by themselves,
but distributes tested and reliable devices of well-known manufacturers.
